Abstract

Drawing on our recent work in English (Zuccala, 2020b in press; and Pagliaro & Zuccala, 2019), this introduction overviews recent trends in Capuana studies and illustrates how the essays, which make up this special section, contribute to enriching the current and re-flourishing area of capuanistica. The section features work by (alphabetically) Antonio Casamento, Edwige Comoy Fusaro, Valeria Gravina, Ilaria Muoio, Cosetta Seno, and it is complemented by a comparative essay by Ramsey-Portolano, in Section 2.
